Food Journal

How to use the ‘Better’ app food journal

All you need to do is upload photos of your meals. I prefer photos as then I can see portion sizes.

I don’t need you to enter any descriptions, ingredients or portion sizes. If it’s a bar or snack feel free to take a photo of the packet. If you forget to take a photo, just describe what you ate in that entry.

Most clients just load photos all at once at the end of the day.

There are food and mood comments you can use – but you don’t have to (it’s up to you if you think it’s useful - or if you are wanting to track symptoms such as digestive discomfort like bloating).

I’ll review these daily - so keep an eye out for my feedback. I’ll start making suggestions so you can make adjustments even before you receive your plan.

Log your food for 3 days

Here’s a link to a video (super short) explaining how to use this journal.

  • remember a photo is enough

  • you can load them at the end of the day

  • you can enter a description if you don’t take a photo

  • if you’re eating a snack bar - take a photo of the label

Hello, World!

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
